Biographie
1940 born in Ota, Shimane.
1957 graduated from Shimane prefectural vocational ceramic training school and apprenticed to Kanjiro Kawai in Kyoto.
1963 joined to Kurashiki Tsutsumi Pottery by Seijiro Takeuchi in Okayama.
1969 independent at Tsubaki Pottery in Yunotsu,Shimane and received his first prize of new works competition and exhibition at Nihon Mingei Museum.
1971 opened his own pottery,Moriyama Pottery in Yunotsu,Shimane.
1979 received his first prize at Japanese ceramic art exhibition.
1981 received a new face award at Kokuten, Japanese art exhibition.
1983 received an encouragement prize of new works competition and exhibition at Nihon Mingei Museum.
1990 received an association prize of new works competition and exhibition at Nihon Mingei Museum.
2004 designated as traditional crafts of Shimane.
